as much as admire your design work - whats with the religion bs? and the pro-life stuff?

instead of worry about what women do with their bodies perhaps one would express some concern about the misery so many children live in already - or the ones dying everyday in the civil war we have started in iraq?

Helloooo…interesting things said about that advert. I would say that it’s not exactly what I would do to advertise MY church, but people are right - at least they’re trying to keep current. I think that the pictures of doves flying high above a meadow with a super-imposed cross in the background have had their day. It’s time to move on, yes??

Also I highly doubt they’re being literal…it’s funny. (Would have used different fonts myself, but maybe that’s just me.) PS…SWEET BRUSHES. I adore them. Like, wow.

Amen Jason! A christian church should be a place where those who follow Jesus Christ come together to worship and build each other up. If it is for any other purpose, that church has definitely ‘lost touch with reality.’

However, those that do seek the scriptures for the truth are in touch with the ultimate reality, and will want to gear up and ‘get their hands dirty serving someone besides themselves’–that’s a REAL church.

Great site (first time visitor 3/12), looking forward to more interesting things as I get time to delve…

Well, Wouldn’t grab my attention. The church isn’t all about “you being comfortable”, it’s about God and such.

If it’s all about YOU, go join a country-club instead if you want to be Comfortable.

How about a picture of a Shovel and Brick and Morter. “Come join a church where you can get your hands dirty serving someone besides yoursef”? Now THAT would be original.

I am just… at a complete loss for words with regards to the bidets as Church Adverts… why are they so close together? Is it “come s**t close together at our church?” or “a cleanly bowel is closer to godliness?”
Hey Jason, just want to thank you for the brushes again - I took the concept and made a few simple brushes of my own - one of which is (supposed) to be on my header, etc. (I don’t know if if shows up to other people, but when I go to ‘preview template” it looks ok) Any suggestions besides “ditch Blogger for a real site host”? Keep up the great work!

I agree, churches need to be relevant and connect to the world in a down to earth manner. I suppose this is pretty down to earth. Soil..ed? And as far as marketing goes. They got my attention. I’m still on the fence about how I feel.
