How are you using designfruit brushes?
I’ve had several requests for a place for Fruitheads like you to upload your own designs created with the Designfruit art. In my inbox I have several screen captures of posters, cards, scrapbooking papers, Web sites, book covers, and jewelry to name a few. In an effort to organize all of these great pieces of work I’ve set up a flickr group to manage them. The only catch is, you have to add your image to the group. Once you do it will show up for all to see.
Flickr Group
Take me there
Comments are open for technical questions, but please don’t try and post your images here. Post it in your Flickr account, join the group, once your images are in your profile, you click the “add to group†link. Good luck.

This is not a good idea, no one is going to do this… You wash the dishes.

Hi Jason, checking into to what you’re doing these days and have been tracking you through several blogs. Just watched the one about the ice storms. I remember the 1987 ice storm, we were leaving Springfield to go to the Grand Canyon for New Year’s Eve. We thought that Oklahoma looked really beautiful with the ice on the trees, and had no idea that people in Springfield were suffering with no power. Anyway, it was a nice idea to do a video, but this has nothing to do with Photoshop brushes. I did try to send you another email via an old address, so email back if you didn’t receive it and I’ll forward the message to you.
I could use some lessons from you on Photoshop brushes and Typepad. Love that Japanese looking one that’s orange!

jdjohnson, if you didn’t sit 2 desks away from me at I wouldn’t throw ping pong balls at you. But since you do, and since your desk is smaller, you should wash the dishes. :)

So if I set one desk away you wouldn’t? That was a confusing statement. I shall do the dishes, not for you, but for the money.

Pam,
Good to hear from you. I’ll get in touch with you.

Hey Jason,
I just came across this item and unless YOU put it here I’d say this person is in violation of your terms of use. http://www.stockxpert.com/browse.phtml?f=view&id=116449 I added a comment with a link to your site.

Rochelle, I followed the link and it appears the image has been removed?

Hmmm I still see it…

Image #116449 I found it by going to http://www.sxc.hu and searching on the word texture, comes up as the 48th image in the search result.

Ah, I see it now. I’m not a big fan of people doing this sort of thing, but I’m leaving it up to the public to report things of this nature. Thanks for letting me know.

I used your brushes to create a livejournal template. People love it! Thanks so much. I have you listed on my resources page and plan on abusing those brushes. Here’s the template: http://bowlayout.livejournal.com
The community it’s on is http://premade_ljs.livejournal.com. It is the largest layout community on livejournal. Thanks a bunch!

(I also plan on creating the same layout only doing it as a negative)

Tasha, your layout looks great. Please abuse the brushes as much as you want.

Just thought you might like to see, Grrliz made a fantastic LiveJournal layout using your brushes.
(Liz also won the Six Apart/MoveableType Layout Contest last year, FYI.)

Hi Jason,
couldn’t find a contact adress, so I’m posting it here.
created two WP themes with your brushes,
black:
http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/3-columns/1276/solitude_black-30/
white:

as you can see, both themes are free and brush credits goes to you.

I don’t use the Flickr enough, so I’ll just post my use of your brushes here: http://www.thedillontree.com/brad
Great work! When I put up my resource links, I’ll be sure to credit you.

Jason, I’m teaching myself a thing or two about photoshop….and…well….don’t laugh. But, I have no idea how to install these brushes. I want to play with them, but what do I need to do? Eventually I’m going to start a blog…..but I clearly have a few more computer skills to acquire.
thanks in advance for the help…..

Thank you so much for these brushes! They’re beautiful and I’m sure I’m going to use them. So far I’ve abused your tattoo brushes, but I know that’s not the last. I don’t have a flickr account, but I’ll link you to the doll I just made:
http://paperdoll.orange-crux.net/images/dolls/contest/gay.gif
Base by http://www.freewebs.com/paperdolldecay , but edited by me.
Everyone else has done such fantastic things, I’m almost jealous. This doll is so not worthy. XD
Thanks again!

Hi there … no flickr account either, but I thought you might want to know that we’re using your brushes on VibeReview.com. By the way, it’s a sex toy review site, so fair warning – not safe for work! Lovin’ it!

Hi, Jason!
Been a long time fan and I’m ashamed I have never thanked you for the wonderful brushes you created. Therefore to make amends, I gave a loud shout out to DesignFruit and to you, dear artiste, on my latest post:

Thank you so much. Wonderful doesn’t even begin to describe your talent. Thank you, thank you. ^_^
